How to browse and watch TV on the same screen simultaneously

Hi, I want to connect my PC to my TV and was wondering whether there is a way to use the pc normally whilst watching TV on the same screen at the same time?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Unless your TV has PIP(picture in picture). Otherwise, you would have to get a tuner card and then you can watch TV in a window on the screen, and browse in another windoe - on the same screen.
