Hi guys i am going to build a computer for the first time...just wanted to check with you guys whether these components are compatible.. i am ordering them online.! Also is there any kind of risk in assembling a pc?

I think everything is fine, but you might be pushing it on the power supply. Normally the GTX 900 series prefers about 600W for a power storage, but you might be able to get away with 520W.

Oh yeah and do you need an operating system?

As far as risks go you just need to make sure you're not being reckless with the parts. Also try to touch most parts on the sides to deter from damaging the cards with the oils on your skin.
