You don't really burn an ISO to a hard drive or a USB drive. You just store it on them like any other file. An ISO is a file type designed to be burned onto a CD.

Well, actually I have done something by accident that may work just as well for some: try to extract it using 7zip... it will just make a folder with all the files inside, that's it. It worked for me!
