I have a Toshiba Satellite Click Mini L9W-B. When it boots up it simply says „Enter Password: “. I got this computer from my friend and he never set a password. This has to be a bios password as it asks for it right after it boots up and not in the Operating System.

I‘ve tried a bunch of backdoor passwords and searched for where the bios chip might be on the motherboard so I might be able to do something with it, but I haven’t had any luck. The manual also doesn’t say much about it. I do remember the first after I charged it up and turned it on it said something about the Date/Time being reset. Also I can’t figure out how to get into the bios setup (most likely because it needs the password). Does anyone know more about this?

Sorry, but Forum rules preclude assistance with bypassing passwords, BIOS or other.

If a password exists, someone set it.

Ask your friend, or ask Toshiba.

Closing this.
