I read a review of the Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard with power consumption between 40 and 166W using a GTX 1060 Strix 6GB GPU (TDP 130W) and a Ryzen 5 2600X CPU (65 - 102W). What else contributes to the power draw and if I swapped in a Ryzen 5 3400G which draws 45 - 65W would the draw drop about 130W?

The CPU and GPU are generally large contributors to the draw.
The motherboard itself has a draw.
All the drives draw.
All the fans draw.
Anything connected to the USB ports also draws.
Plus any lights or anything like that have to be added.
That's about all I can think of at the moment.

I'm seeing 95 watts on the 2600X.

https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Ryzen+5+2600X&id=3235

and I'm seeing 65 watts on the 3400G

https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Ryzen+5+3400G&id=3498

so the draw would drop about 30 watts.

As the 3400G is an apu I'm assuming the power draw is 30W less for the cpu plus 130W less because no additional graphics card is required, so the total draw using the apu should be 160W lower.
