Question How to catch spyware/malware

I'm reasonably sure there is some nasty malware or spyware on my machine. I would like to capture it and upload the details to virustotal or whatever.

There's nothing popping up with your standard virus scan. There never us.

I think there's something more complex like something functioning like a capture card, or something letting my primary screen be read.

Is there any more advanced tools or methods to scan, quarantine, document and purge that stuff these days?
