Hi,

How do I change my 60hz to 75hz on a new screen if new screen gives black screen (hz not supported etc) on start? I'm using Windows 10 1903 professional with a GTX 1050 via display port. It can be done with screen on-screen buttons? or I have to get to advanced display settings? But then again, this assumed if I don't have access to computer. How do I do that? Thanks in advance

What monitor model do you have? A 75hz monitor is a rare find now a days. Im pretty sure yours is just 60hz and I may be wrong; your getting black screen means the monitor doesn't support that refresh rate which is no biggie as that is how it is for 90 percent of 60hz monitors as I said 75hz is rare and the black screen tells me yours is a common 60hz model. From there is jumps to 100hz and 120hz and 144hz and so on.

The monitor screen type does matter to the video card, only thing that matters is the connection type.

You did say what monitor model you have so there is no way to know if it supports 75 hz refresh rate.

Hey sorry for late reply, I delayed my decision to purchase a new screen due to virus outside, when I got it new I will post it here or if I can find this thread again, thanks anyway
