Hi!
We are using the motherboard (Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX) for the last 1 month. We are upgrading the CPU cooler from a default cooler to a liquid cooler. At this moment, we broke the one ram slot number A2. When we install ram on this slot regular task is ok but when we use 100% CPU load for 1 hour then the PC hangs. After our analysis, when we remove the ram from the broken slot and then install the RAM to the B2 slot the CPU loaded 100% for 6 hours PC no hangs issue was found. We have two RAMs with dual-channel architecture. Only one ram was used in this situation. We are trying to install ram A1 and B1 slots but the display was not found. according to the motherboard manual, first A2 and B2 are seen for display. For two RAMs A1 and B1 "--"=No Memory.

We are claiming the motherboard for warranty but the ram slot is broken that's why we can not change the motherboard. Have any option to use the A1 & B1 RAM slot instead of A2 & B2?

We are trying to change the slot order from bios but no open was found. Please help as soon as possible.

There's no way to change the motherboard's preferred RAM slots.

Also, if you broke the RAM slot, this is not a warranty issue unless you bought extra accidental damage cover. Warranties protect manufacturer defects, not damage you cause (and if you tell Gigabyte it came broken, you're committing criminal fraud).
