Hello, I have a Seagate ST373455LW hard drive with a firmware model M002. I am trying to change the firmware back to the default version it comes with. If anyone knows where and how I can do this, please let me know. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Technically if you can erase and write into the Bios chip, you can rollback too, unless the manufacturer doesn't want to enable this operation in their tool.
The firmware consists of several modules. Some modules are updated in the flash memory on the PCB, others are updated in the hidden System Area on the platters. It is not advisable to mix OEM and retail firmware versions. Doing so can render the drive inoperable.
