As far as i know it's an risky process. What should i do? GPU Model: Sapphire R9 280X Tri-X OC 3GB GDDR5 384-Bit

Solution Eximo Sep 23, 2020 Well, all you really need is a screwdriver and new thermal paste. Possibly new thermal pads, but they are quite reusable if you don't tear them. And lucky for you, an entire ifixit page: https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Sappire+Vapor-X+AMD+R9+280x+Teardown/86576 Even if it is not quite identical to yours, not that big a difference between the various cards. Head to youtube and search for video card teardowns. Gamer's Nexus does some in-depth ones, and many others when converting them to water coolers.
