I have searched this forum (and many other resources) attempting to find out how to change the setting for high temp alarm on my Asus motherboard (Full PC specs below). Cannot find any selection in the BIOS settings. Issue: motherboard kept beeping intermittently with no pattern. Determined through monitoring software (HWMonitor) that beeping happens when high temp alarm is triggered at 70deg C for the "Package" or "Cores (Max)" settings. My configuration is for a Trading PC running eight monitors. When the stock markets moves with high volatility, my charts start moving fast, and this is when high temps happen. The highest temp recorded (per HWMonitor) has been 79deg C but 70-72deg happens several times per day. I would like to change the setting for High Temp alarm to 78deg C to cut down on most of the beeping. Would appreciate any assistance that you can provide.
