Hi guys, I just buy a lenovo y50 UHD laptop, the screen resolution should be 4k but when I check screen resolution in windows it shows 1920*1080!!
I try to increase the resolution via Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution but the highest resolution available here is 1920*1080,how can I change screen resolution to 4k?!

Hate to ask, but are you sure you bought the UHD model - Lenovo carries a regular Y50 and several of the skus have similar price points. I was actually in the market for one of these as a replacement to my Yoga 2 Pro for work but I think I am going to wait for the Asus GX500 next year

I'm sure screen is 4k, Its a newer series than fhd, also you can find this series whit UHD screen in official lenovo site
in user manual isn't any explain about such this prolem
additional info:
I have windows 8.1,nvidia geforce 860 gtx and intel 4600 hd,

Look at your invoice and check to see if the kit sku includes the upgraded display. When you purchase through Lenovo, both models include the 860. For my Yoga 2 Pro, it's a 3200 X 1800 display which you can downscale to 1080p (some applications really don't like that display setting so it's easier most days to downscale)

check the sticker on the laptop just at the the bottom left below the keyboard, If it says UHD (optional) then you definately have the FHD model just like the I've got. If the sticker doesn't mention (optional) then the default resolution would already be 4K. Double check your product or return it otherwise.
