You can't, MAC addresses are hardware-related.

bicycle_repair_man is technically correct but it is possible to spoof it using software, why would you need to do it though??

well honestly i have no idea how my mac address changed..

i have two CCTV dvrs on my LAN Network.a 8ch one and a 4ch one.some how my 4ch dvr's mac got copied on to my 8 ch dvr..now both dont work simultaneously on my LAN network.

please help.

That's simply not possible. MAC is hardware encoded it can't be changed.

I've seen it happen before with certain alibaba cheap dvr recorders as well. If you'd reset it it might change back

That would still be spoofed, not physically changing it. It's a software change not actual hardware.

well this there a way to get the some Chinese 8 ch dvr firmware.

You have to change the special IC which controls the network from another DVR by coping the data ROM it, now you can took the old mac address from that DVR. Hope it will help you out.
