How to change resolution when I can't see anything?

I have an nvidia 750 ti VGA card and the monitor i'm trying to use is with only supports 1360*768 60 Hz. when i connect it to the motherboard's vga output it's OK but when i change to vga card monitor says out of range. how can i change the resolution where I can't see anything?

I don't think you can. But try using an HDMI or a DVI cable to connect to the monitor.

If you boot off your usb recovery drive, you can change your startup settings, it's usually vga mode or something like that.
