How to change the default car in GTA 5?

Hi im playing GTA 5 (Story Mode, on xbox)
and i am wondering how i can change the default car like when i die or complete a mission a red car spawn every time (Default car) but i have a car for 2 mill and i was wondering how i change that to the default car

Best you can do is put them in a garage and buy insurance so you can get another one when you inevitably blow it up. But trevors red truck micheals sedan and franklins dodge charger looking thing are there personal cars and you cant get rid of them.

Actually you can! I don't know HOW.....but I kinda switched Michael default car Obey Tailgater with a red Premier and it's sooo slow 🙁
But I think I got it because Jimmy took his original Obey.....who knows

Lol yeah you drive that ugly premier thing for a while, however towards the end of the game you will get the obey tailgater back and with new rims lol I wont spoil anymore if you haven't beaten it before.

And you can upgrade their personal cars too if you didn't know that, the upgrades will stick even if you destroy it. I had to put a turbo and a new engine in Michael's premier, its so slow. And their are a couple missions were they make you drive it if I recall correctly.

One option you could do is to save your character in a car you choose before proceeding to a mission. That way if you lose it during the mission you could just reload it. For some missions this is the only way to complete the mission in the allotted time because the personal vehicles are too slow.
