How to change the vbios on my graphics card

I accidentally bought a fake graphics card recently. It is a Vamery GTX 650 TI 2GB. Only problem is, it's not actually a GTX 650 TI. From the research that I have done, I have concluded that it is most likely a GeForce 9600 GT 1GB. Now, the graphics card tells my pc that it is a GTX 650 TI 2GB, and whenever I install the driver, my PC reaches an error screen (because it is not actually a 650 TI). Now, is there any way to change the vbios to that of a GeForce 9600 GT 1gb, or am I screwed?

Solution
You can maybe alter the BIOS to say whatever you want. The people who sold it to you did exactly that.
That does not make it any better, performancewise.

It is still a crappy 1GB 9600.

(...accidentally bought...?)
The Vamery's are fake, and you're right, probably a 9600 GT. If they've modified the BIOS to show it as a 650 Ti, you would have to go back and re edit it to reflect that it's a 9600 GT. You might be able to use software like Nbitor to do that, but I'm not sure since I haven't tried. My advice would be to chalk it up as a lesson learned and file a report with EBAY. The 9600 GT is practically worthless.
