[SOLVED] How to change voltage to cpu in bios?

Hi, I want to change my voltage to my cpu in my bios but have no clue how to, I currently use Asus uefi bios utility , I just put in the I7-4790K and it's super hot so I thought changing the voltage would at least lower it, my motherboard is H81M-PLUS, many thanks- Mat

Go to the AI Tweaker tab, then locate CPU voltage override and set it to "offset", then in the box below that, set a negative value offset.

If your cpu is superhot in stock configuration, check that your cooler is properly installed with fresh thermal paste and everything is working correctly. Changing voltages shouldn't be a solution to a bigger problem.

What is "super hot" though?
What CPU cooler do you have? The stock Intel one?

Fix the actual problem.
Why is it 'super hot'?
