Hello,
I have an i5 6600k and an asus z170a motherboard. How can i change voltages? it says cpu_ov must be activated or something like this?

also HW hardware says my max voltage is 1.286, is this good for a 4.4 ghz OC?
Thanks, Rob

if you want to get a stable overclock to 4.4 you should rise the voltage to some what in the neighborhood of 1.420 to 1.442 but this depends on lots of things
I suggest that load back your optimal defaults then for each 100 MHz overclock rise your voltage with 0.010 to 0.020 and you should be fine
Also here is a guide that you can check

Just take thing up slowly abnd add voltage as needed - I wouldn't just be jumping to to 1.4whatever, you may get a stable OC but might be able to run same at 1.25 or so . In other words big jumps and you can end up running voltages much higher than needed - higher voltages mean higher heat which can cut the life of the CPU and cause stability problems
