Hi there, & Welcome to Tom's Hardware!

You can search google regarding backgrounds and how to select and use them

You can also right click on the desktop, choose "personalize" and you will see the "default" MS backgrounds you can choose from.
From there you can also "browse" to My Pictures, and choose one of your own custom images to use as a background for your profile's background.
So, there's lots of choices, and multiple ways to find exactly what you want.

The easiest way is to find a picture you like and right click and chose "set as desktop background" or "set as background" depending on where the picture is being viewed from.
