How to check any sim card is of which company

The SIM normally has the logo of the company on it, like this:

If not, you can get the mobile network from the ICCID, a 19/20 digit number that's normally printed on the SIM card.

The ITU (who assigns the first part of these numbers) publishes a registry here: http://www.itu.int/pub/T-SP-E.118-2013

Look the number up in that document.
