How to check for "bottleneck"?

Hi all, quick question...

Is there a way of checking if my CPU is bottlenecking?

I got FX 8320 stock and I'm running that with MSI R9 380 Gaming 4GB ( also stock )

My problem is that I'm getting low fps in not very demanding games, like Heroes of the Storm, on average 35-40 🙁

Is that CPU or GPU?

Check your CPU usage. If it's above 90% I'd say it's bottlenecking. Same thing goes for GPU. If those usages look alright then I'd check your thermals on each as well.

There is not a formula for that. We call a bottleneck when the CPU usage is higher than 90% and the GPU is in the same range.
