[SOLVED] How to check gpu on laptop that doesn't boot?

Hi, I have an hp envy 17t-j000 and I want to know how to check which gpu is inside of the laptop either through cmd or by directly looking at the gpu. The computer doesn't boot properly and bios only has information on the ram and cpu inside of the laptop. I am fairly sure I don't have a 740M inside the machine; however, it is quite old and I am unable to locate my order or remember which gpu was inside the machine.
 
Solution
Sounds like the system more or less works, drop in a Linux bootable distribution and you can check the system specs with some of the commands found here:


Or install something like hardinfo to get a more Device Manager style list.

Directly examining the GPU is pretty straight forward if you don't mind taking it part. Should have a code on it like GK106 and some other numbers you can look up here:

I already have the code couldn't find a lookup anywhere thank you very much for the link!
