Hi,

I want to check my GPU/CPU performance so i can see reason for fps drops while gaming so i can decide which part i need to upgrade.

I have R9 390.

I installed:

- RivaTuner OSD Server
- HWiNFO64

I configured them both, it works fine.

My problem is i have no idea which parameters i need to monitor for GPU performance. It cannot be "load" because load is almost always 100%.

Could someone tell me which things i need to keep an eye on so i can tell if my GPU if causing fps drops?

Here is screenshot of what i am being offered: https://i.imgur.com/91084Y1.png

I have 24GB of RAM so it should not be a problem. I temps are also fine.

I just need a way to see if "GPU is being hammered too hard".
To be clear, i am playing PUBG, it is still very poorly optimized and i am aware of this. I just would like to see how my GPU handles it.

Same thing, CPU/GPU usage and temperatures. And fps which I can't see anywhere on your picture.
If your GPU is at 100% and temperature is 80 degrees it means it's used to the maximum possible. The game tho is so poorly optimized, I had my CPU and GPU at 50-60% and still didn't get 60 fps at 4K.

From what i was reading 100% GPU is normal. It is 100% even in game menu.

This is what gives me hard time. I do not know how do you even tell these things with GPU.
With CPU it is very easy: 100% = bad

Just took ingame screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/ESvBdqu.jpg

With these parameters i do not see anything strange, and yet, FPS will drop from 80-90 to 50-60 and then go up again.
While i do understand why FPS might drop game wise (big cities, wide open areas) i do not know which part of my PC cannot handle it, thus it drops.

Here are the stats after the game session:
