hello
i just finished building my gaming pc :D

i haven't got windows 7 yet and would like to know what i can do to check if everything is functioning correctly
i have turned it on, it all seems to be working
my MB if it helps Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H

ps my front fan is not spinning, is it meant to turn on when system reaches a certain temperature?

thanks in advanced!!!

Solution
Your front fan should be connected to the motherboard or a power cable to get it on. Look for its cable and connect it somewhere. If the screen does post anything and it is not just only a black screen, then you are good to go.

If the fan is properly connected, it should spin up. If it does not, something is wrong with it.

Other than that, silly thread. You cannot do much more than see whether a picture appears after turning on before you got your Windows.
