Hello,

Maybe this is an overused question but how would I tell that my case supports ATX motherboard? I can't check because I bought it a very long time ago (5/6 years ago) and it doesn't the company or anything on the case. I started to notice that mATX cases has 4 slots on the sides whereas ATX cases has 7 slots and my one has 7 slots, But is that really it??

Thanks

Welcome to the forums :D
that is it. you got it right the first time.

mATX 4 expansion slots
ATX 7 expansion slots
mITX 1 expansion slot

as long as the slots on case are equal to or greater than the slots on the board it should be fine.
ATX can hold smaller boards, but smaller cases cannot house larger boards.
