How to check my external hard disk that is corrupt and unreadable?

my disk are unreadable and corrupt, i cannot access my files. please help me.

use the utilities that you can download from the manufacturers site.
if the drive is no longer under warratny you can take it out of the enclosure and put in it a working pc or another enclosure and try to access it that way.
