How to check performance for your GPU?

So I bought a GTX 660 to finish off my build and I'm pretty sure it has some problems with performance. In bf4( I know its very cpu intense game but still) on high settings 720p i get around 40 fps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_MPb7Rinq0 here is a video with gtx 760. Even though that 760 is more powerfull than 660 perfformance on 1080 on ultra is much better than mine with 720p and high. So idk whats the problem about this. I would love to see how many fps does other people get on bf3 and bf4 with GTX 660 or I3 4130

Full specs:
I3 4130
Msi gtx 660 twin frozr IV
8gb ram
Asrock fatal1ty gaming H87
500w psu
500gb hd

The problem with trying to use in-game performance as a measure of your GPUs performance (as compared to other users), is the number of variables. I would recommend using benchmarks like Unigine Heaven or 3DMark Firestrike - then you can compare your benchmarks to users with identical GPUs/CPUs with identical graphic settings and see how yours stacks up. If it's lower than the norm, you can then start working on your card and system settings to improve the performance.

Ok I will do them and tell you the score

Okay, now do a Google search using search terms like: Heaven, benchmark, basic, GTX 660. Find a forum like the ones linked below and compare your scores to others with the same card and similar systems. Usually right at the beginning of the forum, they'll state a standard set of settings to use when testing to ensure you're comparing apples to apples.

I will do extreme one too a bit later

You'll want to do some checking on your own, but that looks about right for a GTX 660 at stock clocks. Remember, that benchmark with those settings is supposed push your card to it's max. Don't expect any astronomical scores - to get those you need to have a top-end card, preferably more than one.

This will give you a baseline to compare your card and setup to others, and to check whether any tweaks you do result in improved performance.
