How to choose a computer case that fits a reservoir?

I am looking into custom water cooling loop lately and I am interested in cylinder type reservoir. However I cannot tell if a computer case can fit in a reservoir.Which computer spec(s) should I pay attention to see a computer case is compatible with a reservoir or not?

Reservoir size does not determine or lend anything to additional cooling - it is only to hold additional liquid volume. If you want a big cylinder res, buy a big case. You might want to Google for images of similar builds to get an idea.
