Hey all,

I've almost finished a build but now I'm looking for a PSU. How does one go about choosing the best PSU? I know I want a 750W, but what other elements do I need to take into consideration? Thanks in advance for your help!

Solution
You need to consider your primary parts respecting 12v consumption as well as the quality of unit. You want your load to be 80% of the 12v rail's amperage. The 2 parts that use the 12v rail are the CPU and the Graphics. There's a running thread as to the Power Supply tier list listed above. This will take you a long time to search everything though.

Right now the best deal on the market is: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?usa...4&vpn=P1750BNLG9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1452

750W, Tier 1, Silver Certified, $78, 62A on the 12v rail.

2 rails is a good thing I agree, became the ATX standard some time ago I think.
