How to choose between two same model gpu ???

Hi guys ! So the title kind of says it all. I'm looking towards the GTX 1070, and there are a lot of options ! I'm new to this and it will be my first build. So I wanted to know how to choose between a ASUS GTX 1070 or an MSI GTX 1070 ? Do i just compare the clock speeds, type of RAM and memory ?

doesn't matter
all teh 1070s perform within 3-4fps/°C/dB(A) to each other
get the cheaper one, or another cheaper model (Asus & MSI are usually overpriced, especially the Gaming & Strix series)

with NVIDIA Boost they all clock around 2000MHz per default no matter what the box says
all use 8 GB RAM
if it's Micron or Samsung doesn't make a difference anymore and is tough to spot

Price, size, power usage, warranty. The asus one might be more power efficient (They usually are though I don't know in this case) I'd personally just go for price.

Personally, I would pick MSI over ASUS. ASUS' after market support is abysmal. MSI....I've never had any trouble with.

yep, they are all the same. the only thing that matter is whichever brand has the better warrenty

A 1070 is a 1070, pretty much, there's high end and low end cards, but you'd be looking at benchmark results with @10fps difference and high end cards can push a higher OC. Other than that, it's all on what you think looks better in your system, what fits better with your wallet and personal brand preferences. Either one would be good, they're pretty much the same. Only real difference is if you'd prefer or have a need for a blower fan style (that's the squirrel cage that blows exhaust out of the case) vrs axial style (the kind with 1-2-3 bigger fans that blow into the case). Just avoid the FE (founders edition) as they are original release cards, with reference clocks and high price tags
