How to choose the best psu for my desktop

hi , i want to add to my desktop & want to know what PSU will suit it . i run( WIN 7 , I5 2500K CPU , 1.5TB hard drive , gainward 1GB GTX 560 graphics card , ASRock Z68M-usb3 M/BOARD ) i want to upgrade my DVD DRIVE to a blu-ray , add a 60G - 120G SSD , 4X LED cooling fans on side panel . the PSU i have is 350W , also its a COODMAX 420mmX180mmX420mm case & i bought an ( IN WIN DRAGON SLAYER TOWER ) will i be able to swap towers ? please reply with some advise , thanks , mick .

As long as you get a good Bronze or better psu then running it at lower loads isn't going to be too detrimental. In fact gold rated units will be more efficient at 20% than other units are at 50.

Drives aren't all that power hungry though. Most of your power needs are going to come from gpu's. Multi gpu's are the ones that need the monster units.

The better the 80+ rating the more efficient the unit, but once you find a unit read up on some reviews of it, so you know what your are getting.

Short answer, your Corsair tx 750 should be fine, but if you are looking for something a little cheaper you can probably pull back on the psu a little.
