If this is dedicated room and you planning to build ground up. Then give us dimensions. And where Door and Windows(if any) are on drawing with closes estimate of measurements.

yes it is the new dedicated room I plan to build from scratch and the dimensions are 200 to 210 square feet I guess

Please give me length x width x height. And if there are windows where are they. For Example. If they on Left Wall what is the dimension of the Window like width and height. And where does it start. Also the door where is the door on what wall and where does it start. And what width and height.

That all info I need. Then I will cook up suitable layout for your room.

First thing to do is pick material to audition speakers. This is free but most important. Nobody else has the same hearing as you. Only your ears and brain can tell you what sounds "right". Get music (preferably acoustic or vocals) that you know EXTREMELY well. Then get DVD or BlueRay that you know the sounds of. Take ALL that when you audition speakers. IMO, auditioning speakers is a fundamental step. Plan to get all your primary speakers from one manufacturer. Get the same speaker if possible for all positions. That way you minimize any shift in tone as sounds move from speaker to speaker. I have Paradigm speakers with an SVS subwoofer for my primary audio system. Why? Because I liked the way the Paradigms sounded better than other speaker brands.
