Signal power is in miliwats, not enough to drive speakers like that, definitively 100W+ speakers, it's geared mainly for high level earphones.

I can apply a very small or smaller speaker directly to the audio card. The audio card has a dedicated power cable connector like the GPU to be attached to the power supply. So is capable to push more than a traditional weak signal. My power supplay is 1100 W.

    > What is the maximum allowed speaker I can apply directly to the audio card Asus Soar?
    > How much power do I have?
    > Can I burn my card?

So I need to connect an optic cable or rear side, front cables to a 7.1 amplifier and from that the Speakers, correct? Any amplifier example, since I purchase my own speakers?

For analog sound you need an analog amplifier. For use with optical cable, you need a DAC (Digital to Analog) converter because it uses digital signal from computer, A DAC may or may not also include an amplifier or pre-amplifier. In any case it has to be something of high quality matched with speakers.
So, all together, it's important to have a sound system. Speakers perfectly matched to amplifier and how you get input to it is secondary. Such a system you can feed sound from anything.

I start to understand. Here was the source problem. The Quick Start Guide manual [Q9968 / First Edition / November 2014] shows in the illustration a direct connection to the speakers and in the section Hardware Features other languages,
translation does not mention the word, powered speakers. "Powered" was omitted and creates confusion.

Thank you so much.

Mike this is more a personal question, since we are on the subject,
What Amplifier type do you recommend for attaching my 100w jbl 5.1 + x2 Northridge N24AWII to attach to the 7.1 audio board? Or can I use separate amplifiers? what is the best way to proceed? (I usually buy good second hand but I'm open)
