How to choose what graphic card to use

Hey guys,

Recently I bought a new laptop for light gaming,
and go the game Guild Wars 2, for some reason I get 20 FPS at most on highest graphics.
someone told me that my laptop probably is not using the strongest graphic card,
and also my laptop probably running on low settings (power saving)
I don't really know where to find these setting and how to change them,

Laptop specs:

Intel Core i7-6500 8GB RAM
2.5GHz with turbo boost up to 3.2
Geforce 920M 4GB with Intel HD Graphics 520.

Go to power options in the control panel. Make sure your on the balanced power plan and NOT the power saver plan.

However, the GT 920M is a very very low end graphics card. It was not really designed for high end gaming, mainly just for budget laptops who needed GPU acceleration.
