I've seen many videos and pictures of how to hold a mouse with claw grip, but I can't seem to understand where each part of my hand goes on the mouse. I have a Razer Deathadder 2013.

In my attempt to go claw, i have the following:
Thumb: pointed on side buttons
Index: pointed on LMB
Middle: pointed on RMB
Ring: pointed on edge of RMB
Pinkie: pointed on right side of mouse

Now... where does the bottom of my hand go? Should it be mounted on the mouse, be suspended in the air, or drag across the mousepad? Also, by what degree should I curve my fingers? I recently transferred from console, so I'm lost on how to grip a mouse 🙁

Your hand will naturally fall to whatever feels best for you, with that particular mouse size and shape.
There is no proper way to grip a mouse. This whole "claw" or "palm" stance is complete nonsense. There is no proof that using claw for example will increase your gaming abilities. It is all about how you feel comfortable and it is strictly individual.

I understand, I just wanted to try out each "standard" grip to see which of the three is most comfortable for me, then I can make adjustments from there 😀
