Its been almost 6 months since I built my gaming PC and just about ready to start cleaning it. First off I want to spray it with compressed air. Anyone have any good tips and instructions on how to do this for my CPU heatsink and GPU fan as well as the mobo? Should I have blow air directly to the fans? How far do the nozzle have to be from the fans? Do I hold the fans from spinning with something? Sorry that Im noob to this but any help would be greatly thanked for!

I recommend using quick, short blasts or air, as it get cold fast and I have had frostbite using one for too long. For blasting, move it outside and open up everything you can eg. front panel, side panels, etc. (strip it down to near the bare minimum) and start blasting. Try to be from 0-5 inches away from components, but don't touch anything with the nozzle and/or can. I recommend holding the fans, as it's never good to force a fan to spin.
