how to clean printhead in Win7 pro on a Canon MP250

Go into the printer setup options or preferences where you set the paper type etc.

Look for the "Maintenance" tab or section.
There should be a nozzle cleaning utility in there.

If cleaning by that method doesn't help, the nozzles are probably severely blocked. This can happen if the printer hasn't been used for a while. You will have to try removing the printhead and leaving it to soak in hand-hot soapy water.
Agitate it a few times while it's soaking.
If the soapy water becomes coloured, that means it's doing the job successfully.
Rinse it thoroughly in clean water and allow it to dry.
Then put it back in the printer.
