Hi,i have bought an xbox 360 from a friend which he has used for nearly 2 years and im sure he has never cleaned the dust inside.i use to clean the dust of my pc at least one in three months.i want to clean the dust in this console but i don't know how to open it.i don't see any screws like in my pc to take it apart.can someone help me to do it.

i know this sounds stupid but i still want to know whether this is safe.what if i use a vacuum cleaner and pull the dust off the consoles air intake.will it clean the dust inside safely to some extent?i think this is easier and maybe safer than taking the console apart.

Solution
Compressed air can is the best bet. Unless you care don't care about voiding the warranty (if you still have one), but the case is not the nicest to get open.
I agree. I opened one to try substituting the "x-clamps" and reapplying the thermal compound (it eventually burned out anyway, but it lasted a couple months more). You don't want to do it...

It's something you can't do with just common screwdrivers (if I recall correctly, you need two sizes of torx screwdrivers), and it's essentially like opening an onion...it has layers.
It's literally a front lid and a detachable HDD, covering a plastic box, containing a metal box, containing the components arranged in such an order that, if you were playing a game of tetris, they would disappear...
