How to clear a Windows 8.1 admin password on an Acer Aspire E 15

I'm trying to get access to an Acer Aspire E 15 laptop that was assigned to an employee that left the comppny not providing the admin password for the Windows 8.1. I have tried several free and tryal utilities but noting has worked so far. The problem is that the support for legacy BIOS seems not to be compatible with the utilities. An additional obstacle for the utility that came closer to clear the password is that the Windows 8.1 is configured for fast startup which prevents the Linux OS on the recovery CD to mount the System partition.
Has anyone managed to solve a similar situation?
