I have been trying to find a way to reset my CMOS for 30 minutes now and I really cannot find it, there is no button for it anywhere and I cant find any cables marked CMOS.
Its a jumper, look for 2 pins near the cmos chip .it should be in the bottom right corner.Place the jumper in the clear cmos position for 30 seconds and then place them back to normal
Can also simply unplug the rig and remove the CMOS battery (looks like a silver coin) for about 30 seconds then reinsert it 😉
Thanks, I tried that too
So 2 days ago my computer started being weird, I had to press my power button several times to start it.
Yesterday I had to reset CMOS to start it, which worked eventually (there was like a 5 second delay between when I pressed power and when it started up, weird).
Today nothing works, it wont start. There is power, not sure what is wrong.
