I dropped my Seagate 2 TB external hdd and now I am unable to access it in windows 10 but I am able to access and read all its data in ubuntu,
but when I try to copy a file from it in ubuntu it gives Input/Output Error.
But I am able to access all the data do I think my data is fine.
I tried cloning it using the rescue operation in clonezilla but it alway fails. How can I recover my data

If it is an external with no OS, you don't need to "clone".
Simple copy/paste would work.

However, it seems that even that would not work. If both Windows and Linux can't read it...it is pretty much dead.

You may be in luck, and it is just the external enclosure that is toast.
Disassemble and take the physical drive out. It should expose regular SATA III connections.
Use either another SATA-USB dock, or connect it internally into a PC.
See what happens.

If that also fails, the drive is dead.
