My fat cat in a white hat sat flat on my clickity-clack (keyboard) and created over 9000 desktops.

How do I close them all without needing to open Task View and clicking X on every single desktop?

Solution
Outstanding!

1. Open taskbar properties (right-click, Properties) or go to Control Panel>Appearance & Personalization>Taskbar & Start Menu.
2. Select "Group similar taskbar buttons" and click OK.
3. Your desktop iterations should be grouped together. Right click that group and select "Close all windows".
4. Go back to Taskbar Properties and reset the Group similar taskbar buttons option. Done!

Your fine feline might try sometime
to find a lap or set of knees
instead of pawing at the keys.
