[SOLVED] How to completely clean a used SSD from hidden viruses, malware, spyware, etc?

I'm purchasing a used SSD (I normally wouldn't, but it came bundled with other used parts I was buying) and I just wanted to make sure it was completely clean. My main concerns are hidden malware, spyware, viruses, etc. I'm going to be clean installing Windows 10 on it, which I believe involves a reformat of the entire SSD. Will this be enough?

The SSD is a Samsung EVO 960 NVME.

Use Samsung Magician to erase/wipe the ssd first, then format it. Use secure erase under tools menu in Magician. https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/magician/
