Hi I am having a huge glitch with my gaming pc. This is my first ever time building a pc so I knew something would go wrong. All I want to do is reset my SSD and windows because the glitch is coming from my SSD. The problem is, I can't use my mouse or keyboard. I might be able to use my mouse but definitely not my keyboard. But like I said I just want to re install windows. But I don't know how? Do I need to put in the disk for windows 7? Can I use the same key that I used before? All I want is a step by step way to compleatley reset my pc. Btw I built it so I don't know if that makes it more difficult.

So your saying I can use the same key like when I first installed windows? Or do I have to buy another key?

You can call microsoft and say something went wrong while installing and see if they give you a new key, if they don't you need to buy a new key.
Anyway your problem seems minor, you might want to focus on that

Ok, if it's such a minor problem how do I fix it? I installed the H97 chipset, now all of a sudden my USB ports aren't working. I can't use my mouse or keyboard. I can go in the bios though because they turn on when I turn on the pc but turn off when I load windows.

Ok, thanks! I'll try that in the morning. Also I had this glitch before but I just turned something on in the bios and it fixed it. I don't know if that help or whatever but just giving all the info I can.

Ok I just got a USB to ps/2 adapter (it doesn't work) so now I'm out of ideas. I can't go into the device manager BECAUSE I CANT USE MY KEYBOARD OR MOUSE! So now what? I think I'm just going to reset my pc...

Well it's difficult for you and me to fix a pc without any input device.
But before you reset just try the various usb ports either front or back.
Resetting your PC is just like the same as you install windows the first time
