New PC and after transfer of data my SSD is loaded. Would like to move everything to HDD except OS and often used programs. Also wondering if I need to keep some of the stuff from the old PC. I propose to simply drag/drop the programs and files to the HDD. Is that a problem? Running Z97 Gaming Mobo, i7-4790 CPU, 16 GB 2133 MHz DDr3 RAM, GeForce GTX 960-2GB GDDR5, 128 GB SSD and 1TB HDD, with Win 7x64.

Solution
While a drag and drop may work in theory, your computer's registry will be seriously messed up since you've moved all of your files without modifying the registry. Your best option is to uninstall all the programs from your SSD that you don't want there, and reinstall them on your HDD - it'll save you a lot of headaches when your programs malfunction in unexpected ways since they can't find the files that they need.
