I would like to configure Windows 10 to only allow access to sites I choose and block access to others. This without using third-party apps. Just using native Windows apps or settings.
Can someone help me?
Can someone help me?
i tried but it not workYou have a couple of options
- If this is to prevent certain people who have access to your computer, create another account for them, but as a Standard user, then use the family settings to block all internet access except for approved sites (according to https://www.cisdem.com/resource/block-all-websites-except-a-few.html , it should have an option to do so, but I haven't messed with this setting)
- If you need to do this system wide, the only way to do this is to modify the HOSTS file, which is described in https://www.guidingtech.com/block-all-websites-except-approved-ones-windows-10/ . The only problem with this method though is it only blocks things you input, making it a blacklist rather than a whitelist.
Host file and local proxy, but it do not help meTried what?
