How to configure Windows 8.1 for an 'itemised boot' process.

Hi all,

Writing to ask how to configure Windows 8.1 for an 'Itemised Boot' process.

What I mean is, during the boot process I'm trying to get Windows 8.1 to display a full list of each and every file it accesses/loads, rather than just having the Motherboard's Splash Screen / Windows 8.1 Logo displayed along with a progress monitor bar.

To clarify, with much older computers, during the boot process you'd see a full, MS-DOS style list of each and every file as the operating system loaded them.

Is there any way to configure Windows 8.1 (and Windows 7, and Windows 10, if you can spare the time to explain for those also) to display all files as they are accessed/loaded?

This would assist with all troubleshooting and learning about the OSs in depth.

Much appreciated.
