Hi Friends,

My PC Specs are as below:
APU 10-6800k
8 gb RAM
GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Dedicated Graphic Card.

Now I have philips home theater htb3520/94 at my home. I connect one hadmi cable to my tv, and another hdmi cable to my home theater. But my sound passes to the tv. I want it to pass through my home theater. when I opened my audio panel on tv output of hdmi was active. other hdmi outputs were greyed out.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
The HDMI on the Philips is an Output, not an input.
To get sound INTO the Philips, you can use the Digital coaxial in, Digital optical in, or AUX in (The AUX being the lowest quality of the three).
Connect it like

Computer ----> Home Theather Receiver ----> Television.

Nothing from your computer should be plugged into your television, just the receiver. The HDMI should be plugged into your 1050TI hdmi output slot, and then into the receiver. On your TV, just have the receiver input selected. On the receiver, select the input that you plugged your computer into. All of the video and audio will run through HDMI, so you dont need any COAX or any other additional cable.

I'm guessing you didn't look up his Philips Receiver.
Your advise in general is fine for newer home systems, but not for his:
