How to connect 144hz monitor to my gaming laptop

I have an Asus G752VY with GTX 980M and wanted to know how I can connect my 144hz monitor to the laptop and play games with 144hz. The monitor I am currently having is the VIEWSONIC XG2701 - 27" 144HZ
