I have 1 work laptop (windows) and a school laptop (macbook). when I use either one, they would be connected to my dual monitors. the windows PC has 1 hdmi to my first monitor, and an adapter to connect to a vga to my second monitor. The macbook is usb c, so I'm using both c and using an adapter.
is it possible to have a switch/hub/dock to permanently connect both computers to the monitors and when I need to swtich between work and school, I can just press a button on the peripheral? If so, what would I need to buy?

Solution
You can also use a $20 or less Blackbird HDMI switch. It has 2 HDMI in connectors (from each computer) and 1 HDMI out to the monitor. Sold at Monoprice.com in so-cal.
Also sell the cheapest priced HDMI/DVI cables around with a Lifetime Warranty.
